GLORY 83: Official Weigh-In Results

Saturday, Feb 11 2023 by GLORY Press Office

It was a day filled with drama at the weigh-ins ahead of GLORY 83, taking place at 8 PM CET on Saturday, February 11, from the Grugahalle in Essen, Germany.

The main event was made official as GLORY Light Heavyweight Champ Sergej Maslobojev and challenger Donegi Abena both made weight ahead of their title bout tomorrow night. This will be a rematch of their close 2021 contest in which Maslobojev walked away with a split decision.

Donovan Wisse was scheduled to defend his Middleweight Title against Cesar Almeida during the evening’s co-main event. However, Almeida missed weight by one kilogram, and as a result, the bout will proceed as a three-round non-title fight.

Elsewhere on the card, Joilton Lutterbach missed weight and on doctor’s orders was removed from the fight card. As a result, his contest against Diaguely Camara will not go ahead and Jos van Belzen vs. Robin Ciric will now take its spot on the main card.

All other fighters made weight to make their respective fights official and GLORY 83 will be available to watch live at 8 PM CET on Videoland in the Netherlands and Fighting.de in Germany.
