Pierre Andurand

Chairman of the Board

Pierre Andurand is the Chairman and majority shareholder in Glory Sports International, the owner and operator of GLORY.

A multi award-winning hedge fund investor, Pierre launched BlueGold Capital in February 2008. As the fund’s Chief Investment Officer and majority shareholder, he was the driving force behind its outstanding success that included $2.5 billion in managed assets and returns in excess of 250% net of fees to investors over the course of its four-year lifespan.  

Pierre became recognized as one of the most successful energy traders between 2003 and 2007 at Vitol SA, the largest oil trading company in the world, which appointed him as a partner in 2004.  

Between 2002 and 2003, Pierre was a principal and oil trader at Bank of America in Singapore. He was recruited out of graduate school in 2000 by Goldman Sachs to be an oil trader for the bank’s commodities trading unit in Singapore. 

Pierre has invested in and helped establish several early-stage companies across multiple geographic and industrial sectors as diverse as technology, biotechnology, finance, luxury hospitality, commodities and sports.  He is in the midst of establishing his next hedge fund, Andurand Capital.

Pierre holds a Masters Degree in International Finance from HEC, Paris and an Engineering Degree in Applied Mathematics from INSA, Toulouse, France. He was also a member of the French Junior Swimming Team in 1993 and 1994.

A lifelong athlete and martial arts enthusiast, Pierre has over a decade of training in a diverse set of combat disciplines, including Muay Thai and Kung-Fu, and is the owner of leading MMA and kickboxing gym Urban Kings, located in London.

 

Scott Rudmann

Vice Chairman of the Board

Scott is the co-founder of Glory Sports International and serves as its Vice Chairman.

Scott founded the private equity investment firm Nectar Capital in 2002. He has over 25 years of experience in the media and leisure sectors, as an investor, operator, financier. He has been an investor or a lead banker in three media and leisure IPOs. Scott previously worked in private equity and fund-of-funds allocations at J. Rothschild Capital Management.

Prior to his private equity experience, Scott was an investment banker at Deutsche Bank in London with the media corporate finance team where equity deals he originated or completed amounted to over £6.2 billion across the publishing, film, and television businesses. In his early career, Scott spent three years at McKinsey and Company in California, Argentina, and Brazil, where his clients included a major Hollywood motion picture studio, two major American symphony orchestras, the US Government (for their strategy for bringing the Internet into public schools), private banks in the United States and Argentina, a natural gas derivatives company, and a privately held global construction and engineering company.

Scott currently serves on the Board of a several Nectar portfolio companies, Total Sports Asia, a leading sports marketing and media rights business with a pan-Asian focus, Boom Cycle, London’s leading indoor cycling group, and SportsFix, a pioneering south-east Asian sports OTT offering. He also serves as co-Portfolio Manager for the Nectar Global Alpha fund and as CIO for Nectar's private equity funds and investments.

Scott holds a BA magna cum laude in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics (PPE) from Claremont McKenna College and Oxford University, and an MBA (high distinction) from the Harvard Business School. He is a founding committee member of the UK Council of Democrats Abroad and a regular contributor to the London Symphony Orchestra and the Serpentine Gallery.
